In Our Communities

All of our Bay Country locations are active within varied community and civic endeavors. It is this culture of community that we feel reflects the culture of treating each other like family and extends beyond our physical locations.

We choose to give our time and resources to a number of different charities and organizations that reflects the needs within the geographic areas where we are located. We are privileged to be able to give back to our local communities, and as part of our endeavor to consistently give back, we contribute to a number of worthy organizations. See below, by Bay County location, those community efforts and partnerships we are humbled to serve:

Bay Country Locations

Easton: Mid-Shore Family Domestic Center Turkey Donation

The Mid-Shore Council is the central point of support and services for all victims of domestic violence within Caroline, Dorchester, Kent, Queen Anne’s, and Talbot counties on Maryland’s Eastern Shore. They create healthy opportunities to break the cycle of domestic violence through intervention and prevention; by supporting victims as they move from crisis through transition to becoming survivors; and by changing society’s attitudes and systems which permit and promote such violence. We are proud to support them and their mission!

UQA is a charitable nonprofit to enhance the physical and mental wellbeing of children 4-14 by facilitating the availability of local youth activities.

Toys for Tots

The mission of the Marine Toys for Tots Foundation is to assist the U. S. Marine Corps in providing a tangible sign of hope to economically disadvantaged children at Christmas. This assistance includes providing day-to-day leadership and oversight of the Program, raising funds to provide toys to supplement the collections of local Toys for Tots Campaigns, to provide promotional and support material and defray the costs of conducting annual Toys for Tots Campaigns. Other Foundation support includes providing administrative, advisory, financial, logistic and promotional support to local Toys for Tots Coordinators; managing funds raised and monies donated based on the use of Toys for Tots name or logo; providing other support the Marine Corps, as a federal agency, cannot provide; and conducting public education and information programs about Toys for Tots that call the general public to action in support of this patriotic community action program.

The Highlands School

The Highlands School is a preparatory school that educates bright students with dyslexia, ADHD, and other language-based learning differences. We are so pleased to support their mission! Highlands students receive individualized instruction in a safe, caring, and supportive environment.

Calvert Hall

Calvert Hall is an all-boys preparatory school with a uniquely designed, rigorous program that fosters in each student an active pursuit of academic excellence and intellectual development. Bay Country is honored to support its programs.

Make-A-Wish

We are pleased to support the Make-A-Wish Foundation, which has granted hundreds of thousands of life-changing wishes to children battling critical illnesses. This gives families hope through dark times, strength to persevere, and experiences that forever change their lives. Bay Country is honored to support this amazing Foundation in support of their mission!

Baseball education and a love for the game are two of our main tenets and, in addition to our normal practices and games, we are again offering teaching clinics to the children, as well as the coaches and volunteers. We offer these clinics to emphasize the fundamentals of the game as we strive to increase the quality of the Reisterstown Baseball experience for everyone involved. But it is more than just the fundamental skills of catching, throwing, and hitting – we equally and constantly strive to tech the lifelong values of self-esteem, commitment, sportsmanship, and teamwork.
